The main challenge the project posed was that the multi deck car park is an external structure and the specified system, as with all resin based systems, could only be applied in dry conditions, this combined with a wetter than usual summer and the imminent arrival of made to order luxury cars for export meant working to tight schedules.
Flowstone Industrial Flooring recently completed car park coatings to all levels on a large new multi-story parking development at Southampton docks. The car park flooring is just a small part of the large 80 million investment into the redesign and development of Southampton docks.
