In 2016 Flowstone was delighted to complete works at Carrington Power Station – a 880MW combined-cycle gas-fired plant, which was developed on a 23ha site in Manchester. We were contracted to supply and install the resin flooring and wall coverings to a number of areas within the plant, including water treatment buildings, chemical waste storage, and dosing areas.
Flowstone Industrial Flooring Limited was contracted to carry out the floor and wall installation works to John Sisk & Sons Construction. We worked with the client to identify the correct solution and to carry out the installation of an acid-resistant resin floor and wall finishes at the 400KV Converter Station located in Flintshire Bridge, Connah’s Quay in North Wales.
Flowstone was proud to be appointed as specialist resin contractors to carry out the resin coating works to a new, prestigious bogie drop facility at Wimbledon Train Depot as part of a £6 million investment program.
Flowstone was entrusted with the extensive depot resin flooring and pit wall coating works at Neville Hill train depot. The train depot operates 24 hours a day for train refits, repairs and refurbishments. As a result, the client needed a resilient, hard wearing flooring solution that could deal with high levels of foot fall, the use of heavy machinery and vehicles.
Flowstone Industrial Flooring Limited were contracted by Sparks to carry out resin floor works to their commercial MOT workshop in Swindon. The work space used by Sparks is hugely demanding for any flooring system – requiring a solution that is both durable and functional.
Flowstone Industrial Flooring Limited was re-appointed by one of our well-established clients, Samclo Limited, to carry out a refurbishment project and install a resin flooring solution to a commercial vehicle workshop in Blenheim Industrial Estate, Nottingham.
Flowstone Industrial Flooring has completed a massive floor refurbishment project for a national retailer of agricultural supplies, Wynnstay Stores. Wynnstay were so satisfied with our resin flooring, they got in touch again to see to their newest store, which opened in 2017 in Ruthin, North Wales.
